Tales from the Bully Box

  • Coming Fall, 2014!
  • Middle Grade Anthology (a book filled with fictional short stories)
  • Published by Elephant’s Bookshelf Press

Bullying stinks, but knowing what to do about it can help make things better. In Tales from the Bully Box, you will find short stories about kids just like you. They get bullied, and sometimes they even bully. But most of the time, they are bystanders (which means they see other kids get bullied by someone else).

In “Hailey’s Shooting Star”, you’ll see how one-handed Hailey proves her worth on the basketball court and as a friend. In “The Eyes on the Back of My Head”, you’ll get to stare right into Mike Mansky’s soul with a pair of super secret laser eyes. Filled with a dozen stories that take readers from the classroom to summer camp and the basketball court to the mall, Tales from the Bully Box inspires kids to be the best friends they can be.

Read more about bullying and what you can do to stand up against the bullies in your life by visiting The Bully Box website. It has stories of bullying survivors, answers to Dear Bully Box questions and tips for your parents and teachers to help make your life at school easier.

Abigail Bindle and the Slam Book Scam

  • Coming in 2015!
  • Middle Grade Mystery
  • Published by Elephant’s Bookshelf Press

Getting her hands on the sixth grade slam book isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.  Instead of reading the dirt on her classmates and finally learning what everyone really thinks about her, geeky honor student Abigail Bindle finds herself framed and in serious trouble for possessing a slam book on school property.

But something doesn’t add up, and Abi soon realizes there are two slam books circulating the halls of Pebble Creek Middle School.

While unraveling the mystery to clear her good name and become an accepted member of the sixth grade, Abi hatches an identity scam and embarks on a journey of detention, lies and deceit.  In the end, her quest to transform herself may cost more than she can afford.
